BBNC would like to keep all current and future BBNC shareholders and descendants informed of the activities of the corporation and the benefits available. We encourage non-shareholder descendants of original BBNC shareholders to complete the descendant registration. For fastest processing, fill out the online form by clicking here. Please note, registering as a BBNC descendant will NOT enroll the descendant as a shareholder, but allows BBNC to send the descendant regular communications from BBNC about scholarships, internships, and other programs and opportunities. If you are already a BBNC shareholder through gifting or inheritance, you do not need to register as a descendant.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Do I become a BBNC shareholder after filling out the descendant registration form?
No. By filling out the descendant registration form, you are only allowing BBNC to contact you with information about scholarships, internships, and other opportunities.

 If I’m already a BBNC shareholder, do I need to register as a descendant?
No. If you are already a BBNC shareholder through gifting or inheritance, you do not need to register with the BBNC descendant database.

Why do you need my birth certificate and Social Security card?
You will need to provide a copy of your birth certificate and Social Security card for verification purposes.

What if I don’t have access to my birth certificate and/or Social Security card?
You will be unable to submit your online descendant registration form without submitting a copy of your birth certificate and Social Security card. To obtain your birth certificate, please contact your local Bureau of Vital Statistics. To obtain your Social Security card, please contact The Social Security Administration.

Is there a paper application for descendant registration that I can fill out instead of completing it online?
For fastest processing, we suggest filling out the form online, but if you would like a paper application, you can find it here. Once completed, please email the paper form and a copy of your birth certificate and Social Security card to shareholders@bbnc.net or fax to (907) 265-7803.

Do I need to do anything after I submit my completed descendant registration form?
Once you submit your completed form and get the “Success!” message, it has been received successfully and you do not need to do anything further. If there are any issues with your form, you will be contacted by BBNC’s Shareholder Services team.
