Registration is now open for the Intro to Community GIS course, taking place from March 17-21, 2025, at the University of Alaska Fairbanks’ Bristol Bay Campus in Dillingham, Alaska!

In this course, students will learn to collect field and online information, analyze data, create maps, and communicate findings using geospatial tools to address local challenges in rural Alaska communities.

Bristol Bay residents can receive funding for travel, tuition, and per diem expenses.
